Mineral Ridge entered their tilt with Memorial on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Red Devils with a sharp 3-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Red Devils back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Mineral Ridge never let Memorial on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 27-25, 25-21.

Brystal Mills paced Mineral Ridge's offense, picking up 11 kills. Mills got some help from Sullivan Sandy and her 34 assists.

Mineral Ridge's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Memorial, with the defeat, they broke their seven-match winning streak and moved their record to 17-2.

Mineral Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Canfield on the 4th. As for Memorial, they will square off against Hubbard at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
