Volleyball Recap: Huntsville Takes a Loss

Huntsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Belton Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

While Huntsville was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17.

Huntsville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Belton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Huntsville will be playing at home against Temple at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Belton, they will challenge Caldwell at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
