Basketball Recap: Ellendale's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Ellendale can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They snuck past the Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter Imperials with a 33-27 win. For the Cardinals, this counts as revenge for the 56-40 victory the Imperials walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Ellendale's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Ellendale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 37-27 loss against Leola/Frederick on the 18th. Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter has also already played their next game, a 46-21 victory against Hankinson on the 18th.
