Mechanicsville is a perfect 8-0 against Highland Springs since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Springers at 7:00 p.m.

Mechanicsville is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Patrick Henry just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots.

Meanwhile, Highland Springs had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Highland Springs took every set by at least 25 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Highland Springs' win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Mechanicsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-2.
