Greenhills waltzed into their match on Saturday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Shrine Catholic Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 on Saturday.

Fran Love made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Talen Pilz was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base. Nick Roney also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Greenhills pushed their record up to 21-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Shrine Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.

Greenhills will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair will be back at it again later today.
