It was a proper cat-fight when Estero duked it out with East Lee County on Friday. The Wildcats breezed past the Jaguars to the tune of 49-7. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-0.

Estero's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maddox Stewart led the charge by throwing for 197 yards and four TDs on only 18 passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Watters, who rushed for 69 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries.

Estero now has a winning record of 2-1. As for East Lee County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Estero will face off against Barron Collier at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Lee County, they will square off against Cypress Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
