Basketball Game Preview: Randleman Tigers vs. Providence Grove Patriots + How To Watch

Randleman is 8-2 against Providence Grove since February of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Tigers will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Patriots at 7:30 p.m. Providence Grove took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Randleman, who comes in off a win.

While Randleman's win against Southern Guilford wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Storm 49-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since January 18th.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Randleman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jackson Cook, who posted nine points and three steals. Those three steals gave Cook a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Trey Burnett, who earned ten points.

Meanwhile, Providence Grove was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 56-52 to Chatham Charter.

Randleman will have to contain Andrew Thomas as he made an impact in Providence Grove's last game. He shot 56% from the field to rack up 23 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Dabbs, who had 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Randleman has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 57.0 points this season. As for Providence Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Randleman didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Providence Grove when the teams last played last Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 65-59 victory.
