Hays put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Liberal Redskins 65-32. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-21.

Despite the loss, Liberal still got an impressive performance from Zoey Torres, who posted eight points. What's more, Torres also posted a 40% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024.

Hays pushed their record up to 16-0 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Liberal, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-6.

Hays didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 60-29 win against McPherson on the 17th. Liberal will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Garden City at 6:00 p.m. on February 25th.
