Basketball Recap: Evansville Day Takes a Loss

Evansville Day lost against Wood Memorial back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Evansville Day Eagles were dealt a 74-39 defeat at the hands of the Wood Memorial Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 395th, while the Trojans are ranked 134th).

Evansville Day's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Wood Memorial, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-4.

Evansville Day has already played their next match (against North Posey), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wood Memorial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-57 defeat against Northeast Dubois on the 1st.
