Volleyball Recap: Lomira Lions vs. St. Mary's Springs Ledgers

Lomira was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the St. Mary's Springs Ledgers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ledgers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 2nd.

The final score came out to 25-14, 24-26, 25-22, 25-19.

Rachel Chervenka paced Lomira's offense, picking up nine kills. Chervenka got some help from Olivia Marshall and her 12 assists. Marshall was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Lomira's loss dropped their record down to 6-21. As for St. Mary's Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-18 record this season.
