Football Recap: George Ranch Comes Up Short

George Ranch lost against Foster back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Longhorns came up short against the Falcons, falling 36-14.

Despite the loss, George Ranch still got an impressive performance from Hayden Drinkard, who rushed for 101 yards and a pair of TDs. Drinkard's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Foster's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordan Williams led the charge by rushing for 61 yards and two scores on only six carries. That's the most rushing yards Williams has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Seth Ross, who threw for 202 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes.

George Ranch now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Foster, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
