Basketball Recap: Nipomo Comes Up Short

Nipomo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 53-27 to the Morro Bay Pirates. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-40 on January 10th.

Nipomo's loss dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Morro Bay, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-17.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nipomo will square off against Santa Ynez at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Morro Bay, they will face off against Cabrillo at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
