Football Recap: Eldorado Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Eldorado had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 35-30 to the Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton Bearcats. The matchup was a 22-22 toss-up at halftime, but the Eagles couldn't quite close it out.

When it comes to explaining why Eldorado lost, don't look at Kaiden Henson. Despite the final result, he rushed for 203 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry.

Tripp Fletcher went supernova For Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton., rushing for 155 yards and three scores on only 14 carries, while also picking up 31 receiving yards and one TD. Landen Butler got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.
