There's no place like home for Sandburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lincoln-Way West Warriors on Tuesday. The Eagles were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Warriors, so the Eagles were just returning the favor.

Sandburg not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Lincoln-Way West between 16 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18.

Jeremiah Aro paced Sandburg's offense, picking up nine kills. Aro got some help from Easton Donausky and his 22 assists. Ethan Cleofe controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Sandburg has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 21 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-4 record this season. As for Lincoln-Way West, they dropped their record down to 17-15 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Sandburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Stagg on the 15th. Lincoln-Way West has also already played their next game (against Bradley-Bourbonnais), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
