Softball Preview: IC Catholic Prep Knights vs. Aurora Central Catholic Chargers

IC Catholic Prep has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Aurora Central Catholic Chargers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. IC Catholic Prep will be strutting in after a victory while Aurora Central Catholic will be coming in after a loss.

IC Catholic Prep can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Saturday. Everything went their way against Bishop McNamara as IC Catholic Prep made off with a 12-2 win. IC Catholic Prep's victory was all the more impressive since Bishop McNamara was averaging only 3.33 runs allowed on the season.

Madelynn Dinino made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off nine hits. Dinino has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Dinino was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
