Hanover put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Blue Valley Rams 56-38. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Rams are ranked 136th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hanover's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.4 points per game. As for Blue Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Hanover will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Diller-Odell on January 28th. As for Blue Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Frankfort on Saturday. Blue Valley is facing Frankfort at the right time seeing as Frankfort is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
