Baseball Recap: McDowell Takes a Loss

McDowell was the 11-1 winner over Fort LeBoeuf when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bison on Monday.

Brady Kramer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Orsefskie, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

McDowell's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Fort LeBoeuf, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-11.

McDowell wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 1-0 win against General McLane on the 14th. As for Fort LeBoeuf, they have also already played their next contest, a 17-7 victory against Warren on the 13th.
