Basketball Recap: Hammon Beats Lomega for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Hammon entered their tilt with Lomega on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 48-41 win over the Lomega Raiders. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hammon is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Lomega, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

Hammon will head out on the road to challenge Canute at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Canute is on a nine-game streak of home wins, Hammon a eight-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Lomega has already played their next match (against Timberlake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
