After soaring to 32 points the game before, Union was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were dealt a 42-7 defeat at the hands of the Ogden Tigers. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Despite the defeat, Union saw an underclassman step up: Dylan Murphy-Watahomigie rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 156 yards on 15 of 33 attempts.

A big part of Ogden's victory came down to the chemistry between Vinscent Apodaca and his top target Synic Harvey. Apodaca threw for 189 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes while Harvey picked up 115 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Ogden, the win for them keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Union will welcome Juan Diego Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ogden, they will head out on the road to face off against Grantsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ogden's defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so Grantsville's offense will have their work cut out for them.
