After a string of three wins, Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 51-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Green Valley Gators. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-54 back in January.

Green Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lamarcus Carter led the charge by putting up 15 points. Da?Quan Brown was another key player, scoring 12 points.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Green Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 18 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Valley nor Green Valley have any future games scheduled.
