Soccer Recap: West Wendover Comes Up Short

West Wendover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the South Tahoe Vikings. That's two games in a row now that West Wendover have lost by exactly four goals.

West Wendover's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for South Tahoe, the victory got them back to even at 2-2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Wendover will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Debbie Smith CTE Academy at 5:00 p.m. on September 5. As for South Tahoe, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Spring Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
