Softball Recap: Prairie Heights Takes a Loss

Prairie Heights had taken Fort Wayne Bishop Luers down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Saturday. The Panthers fell 6-2 to the Knights. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly four runs.

Emily McCrea made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run.

Prairie Heights has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Luers, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 10-14 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Prairie Heights beat the Knights by a score of 7-3 later that day.
