Volleyball Recap: Cuthbertson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Cuthbertson was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Charlotte Catholic on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cavaliers came up short against the Marvin Ridge Mavericks on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-11, 25-10.

Cuthbertson's loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7. As for Marvin Ridge, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 25-2.

Looking ahead, Cuthbertson will face off against Piedmont at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Marvin Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
