Preview: Alden-Conger Knights vs. Glenville-Emmons Wolverines
Alden-Conger has been on the road for five straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Glenville-Emmons Wolverines at 3:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Thursday, Alden-Conger was beaten by St. Clair 74-43. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Alden-Conger in their matchups with St. Clair: they've now lost nine in a row.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 76-38, which was the final score in Glenville-Emmons' tilt against Kingsland on Thursday.
Alden-Conger bumped their record down to 1-4 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Glenville-Emmons, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Everything went Alden-Conger's way against Glenville-Emmons when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as Alden-Conger made off with a 75-51 win. Will Alden-Conger repeat their success, or does Glenville-Emmons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
