Softball Recap: Randolph Gets the Win

While Randolph's win against Westfield wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cardinals had just enough and edged out the Wolverines 11-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cardinals considering their two-run performance the match before.

The team relied heavily on Quinn Pence, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aryana Sears, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI and one run.

Randolph has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Westfield, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-6 record.

As of now, neither Randolph nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
