Basketball Recap: Pittsfield's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Pittsfield had won five straight games and Kyana Summers did her part to make it six on Tuesday. The Pittsfield Generals blew past the Chicopee Comp Colts 75-39 thanks in part to Summers, who went 7 of 11 on her way to 16 points along with seven assists and five steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted five or more steals the last 14 times she's played.

Pittsfield pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33.7 points. As for Chicopee Comp, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Pittsfield will challenge Hoosac Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chicopee Comp, they will take on Minnechaug Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
