Basketball Recap: Coppell Victorious

There's no place like home for Coppell, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They slipped by the Little Elm Lobos 42-41 on Tuesday. Given the Cowboys' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Lobos are ranked 369th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Coppell moved to 12-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Little Elm, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coppell will take on Lewisville in a holiday battle at at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Little Elm and Hebron will compete for holiday cheer at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
