Basketball Recap: Nooksack Valley Comes Up Short

Nooksack Valley lost against Mount Vernon back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Nooksack Valley Pioneers took a 63-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mount Vernon Bulldogs. The Pioneers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Nooksack Valley now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Mount Vernon, they moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Nooksack Valley will take on Sedro-Woolley in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Mount Vernon and Oak Harbor will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
