Basketball Recap: Bodine's Win Ends Ten-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Bodine won the last time they faced Masterman, and Nigeir Fisher did his part to make sure it happened again. Bodine walked away with a 49-42 victory over Masterman on Tuesday thanks in part to Fisher, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 14 points and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played.

Masterman lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Raj Chaudhury, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Tony McCloud, who posted 11 points.

Bodine's win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. As for Masterman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Bodine will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Philadelphia Academy Charter at 3:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Masterman will take on First Philadelphia Prep in a holiday battle at at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
