After losing to St. Marys the last time they met, Nemaha Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Nemaha Central Thunder blew past the St. Marys Bears 51-26 on Tuesday. The Thunder have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, St. Marys still got an impressive performance from Hayden Heim, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine boards. Heim is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.

Nemaha Central's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.2 points. As for St. Marys, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nemaha Central will take on Riley County on Friday. Riley County will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Nemaha Central surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Marys, they will challenge Silver Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
