Baseball Recap: South Cougars vs. Eisenhower Tigers

Three must be South's lucky number: they beat Eisenhower with that score not once but twice on Friday. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Friday.

South's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Yaden Montanez, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

The win made it two in a row for South and bumps their season record up to 14-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games.
