After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glencoe, Wellborn was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past the Ranburne Bulldogs 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in February, they had to take a 6-4 defeat.

Wellborn is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-6 record this season. Ranburne dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Wellborn will square off against Jacksonville Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ranburne, they will challenge Vincent at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give Vincent their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
