Volleyball Recap: Bishop Fenwick Wins Going Away Against Badin

Bishop Fenwick hadn't done well against Badin recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Falcons blew past the Rams 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-9, 25-17.

Bishop Fenwick found their leader in sophomore Emerson Moser, who had 15 digs and two aces. Moser is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Julia Cranford also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Bishop Fenwick was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Bishop Fenwick has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Badin, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-7.

Bishop Fenwick didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Archbishop McNicholas on the 18th. As for Badin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Carroll on the 18th.
