Basketball Game Preview: Lodi Blue Devils vs. Lake Mills L-Cats

Lodi hasn't had much luck against Lake Mills recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Lodi Blue Devils will square off against the Lake Mills L-Cats at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Lake Mills will be up against a hot Lodi squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. Lodi enjoyed a cozy 62-47 win over Columbus on Thursday. Given the Blue Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Cardinals are ranked 267th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lake Mills, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging an 80-46 victory over Poynette. The L-Cats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 24 points or more this season.

Lodi's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Lake Mills, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.
