Sidney has gone 8-2 against Alliance recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Sidney Red Raiders will look to defend their home court against the Alliance Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, Sidney escaped with a win against Grand Island Central Catholic by the margin of a single free throw, 48-47.

Meanwhile, Alliance didn't have too much trouble with Lexington on Saturday as they won 61-47. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 108th, while the Minutemen are ranked 220th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Alliance and bumps their season record up to 13-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points over those games. As for Sidney, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.
