Volleyball Recap: Phoenix Military Comes Up Short

Phoenix Military was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Chicago Sullivan Tigers. If the Firebirds were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11.

Phoenix Military's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chicago Sullivan, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Phoenix Military will take on rival Westinghouse at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Chicago Sullivan is set to challenge their familiar foe Clark at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
