Basketball Recap: Lake Dallas Finds Home Court Redemption Against Van Alstyne

There's no place like home for Lake Dallas, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against the Van Alstyne Panthers on Tuesday as the Lake Dallas Falcons made off with a 72-48 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-40 back in January.

Despite the loss, Van Alstyne still got an impressive performance from DJ Mansel, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Lake Dallas' victory bumped their record up to 15-17. As for Van Alstyne, they dropped their record down to 7-24 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Lake Dallas has already played their next contest, a 56-52 win against Aubrey on the 7th. As for Van Alstyne, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 71-53 defeat against Gainesville on the 7th.
