Baseball Recap: Mohonasen Wins Going Away Against Lansingburgh

Mohonasen never got on the board in their matchup last Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Lansingburgh on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 12-0 victory. The matchup marked the Warriors' most dominant win of the season.

Nic Quinlivan made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Danny DeLaVega was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Will Quinn was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Mohonasen now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Lansingburgh, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.

Coming up, Mohonasen will take on Cohoes at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lansingburgh, they will challenge Ichabod Crane at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Riders will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
