Basketball Recap: Cambridge Rindge & Latin's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Cambridge Rindge & Latin was the 52-44 winner over Newton South when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cambridge Rindge & Latin Falcons fell 65-57 to the Newton South Lions on Friday.

Cambridge Rindge & Latin's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2. As for Newton South, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

When Cambridge Rindge & Latin and Newton South next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Cambridge Rindge & Latin will try to stop Lincoln-Sudbury's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Newton South will take on Boston Latin and their eight-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
