Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grants Pass). They came out on top against the South Salem Saxons by a score of 63-55 on Friday. The Cavemen have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saxons, too.
Despite the loss, South Salem still got an impressive performance from Kellen Bowman, who threw for 692 yards and five touchdowns. Wongani Schlegel was Bowman's top target, picking up 163 receiving yards and one score.
