Volleyball Recap: Drexel Takes a Loss

Drexel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Midway Vikings, falling 3-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Drexel was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23, 25-17.

Drexel's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Midway, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 13-13-3.

As of now, neither Drexel nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
