Soccer Game Preview: Hoosic Valley vs. Tamarac

The Hoosic Valley Hawks will challenge the Tamarac Bengals at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hoosic Valley will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Hoosic Valley barely beat Emma Willard the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hawks' defense stepped up to hand the Jesters a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. Hoosic Valley might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by three goals or more this season.

Hannah Coffin and Payton Gela scored all three of Hoosic Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Tamarac and Cambridge had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bengals had just enough and edged out the N/A 1-0.

The victory got Tamarac back to even at 2-2-3. As for Hoosic Valley, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
