Granville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ella Olsen, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds. Olsen is crushing the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Megan Decker was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Salem has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Granville, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
Salem will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lake George at 5:30 p.m. Lake George is coming into the contest with seven straight defeats on the road, meaning Salem will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. As for Granville, they will face off against Whitehall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in New York (Granville is ranked 515th, while Whitehall is ranked 526th).
