Manhattan waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Junction City Bluejays by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Tuesday.

Leading Manhattan to victory were Janie Hilgers and Madison Stanard. Hilgers had eight digs and two aces, while Stanard had four aces, three digs, and one block. That's the most aces Hilgers has posted over her last five matches. Sophia Peabody also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Manhattan's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Junction City, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Manhattan has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Washburn Rural on the 4th. Junction City has also already played their next matchup (against Topeka), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
