Calloway County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 70-55 win over the Murray Tigers. Given the Lakers' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while the Tigers are ranked 66th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Calloway County pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Murray, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.
