Baseball Recap: Timnath Cubs vs. Severance Silver Knights
Timnath had lost three straight, but after bumping their record up to 5-6 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They won by a run and slipped past the Severance Silver Knights 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Cubs: when they faced off against the Silver Knights on Saturday, they had to take a 5-1 defeat.

Dane Wyman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up nine Ks. He is becoming a predictor of Timnath's success: when he allows at most three earned runs the team is 2-1 (and 3-5 when he doesn't).
