Franklin came tearing into Tuesday's contest with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Taunton Tigers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 25-19.

Among those leading the charge was Emma Cunningham, who had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September. Abby Clark also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Franklin was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Despite the loss, Taunton saw an underclassman step up: freshman Amia Soito had five digs and one block.

Franklin's record is now 15-2. As for Taunton, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-9.

Looking ahead, Franklin will face off against Attleboro at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Taunton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Durfee on the 15th.
