Basketball Recap: Blum Comes Up Short

Blum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bynum Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-23 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bynum to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brandon Collins, who posted 21 points and four steals. Collins is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Chris Howell, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Blum's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Bynum, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4.

Blum has already played their next matchup (against Kopperl), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bynum has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Morgan.
