Baseball Recap: Fruita Monument Find Success

The Fruita Monument Wildcats earned a 7-2 victory over the West Albany Bulldogs on Friday.

Noah Brackett looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in May of 2024.

On the hitting side, Gavin Cardoza was incredible, scoring two runs while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Josh Weaver was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Fruita Monument's record is now 4-2. As for West Albany, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
