Basketball Recap: Los Altos Eagles vs. Wilcox Chargers
Los Altos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 70-68 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wilcox Chargers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered against the Chargers since January 27, 2017.
Semaj Clark continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Wilcox, going 12-for-13 to rack up 30 points and five rebounds. Clark continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Yousef Iqtish, who went 7-for-15 en route to 18 points.
Los Altos' defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Wilcox, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-10.
